I believe therapy is about more than reducing numbness, pain, or distress. It is about building personal strengths such as hope, resilience, and a sense that movement forward is possible, even when things feel stuck. As Gandalf once said, “Courage will now be your best defense against the storm that is at hand.”
I take a person-centered, strengths-based approach, integrating positive psychology, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, narrative work, expressive art, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR. As a self-proclaimed nerd, I also use Dungeons and Dragons in therapy groups to support social skills, particularly among neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients.
I will graduate in May, 2026 from Texas Christian University with a M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My background includes working with adolescents individually, with their families, and in peer group settings. I am driven to help people build meaningful connections and strengthen their belief in the truth that they are equipped to navigate their lives. I work with clients ages 13 and up to address stress, trauma, grief, identity, addiction, and social skill development.
