Growing up in a family with ten children, I quickly learned the importance of working together as a group and interpersonal relationships and connections. My experiences growing up with so many different characters in my life lead me to pursue a degree in psychology from Tarleton State University in Texas and a Master’s degree from the University of Arkansas in their Counselor Education Program.

I am passionate about my work with children, teens, and young adults as they navigate life and their struggles. I take a collaborative approach to therapy and nonjudgmentally guide my clients as they learn to effectively manage their mental health, whether that be depression, anxiety, trauma, and more.

My goal as a trauma-informed therapist is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where one can explore their emotions, learn new skills, and work towards living their best life. I often use strategies from child-centered play therapy, person-centered therapy, emotion-focused therapy (EFT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in my work.
